Parks and Recreation

The Parks and Recreation Booker Dozier Center is the heartbeat of the city of Inkster.  Under my watch, we installed a new basketball court, and renovated the upstairs bathrooms.  We renamed the large upstairs community room in honor of the life of Patricia Williams long time resident and owner of the Stardust Lounge in Inkster.  Annually, we host a spooky Halloween party, along with an Easter Egg hunt and a helicopter marshmallow drop, and a back to school backpack and school supplies give-a-way. 

We reconfigured Westwood Park to create a football field for our youth football team.  We renovated Pine Park and Parkwood Park for the children in the community to have fun at.
